Dasar keturunan penyamun

Kalau berlaku pada org PR, mahu kecoh sampai Gaza cerita ni, tapi sebab dah orang umno, bagi deme biasa, xde hei.

PETALING JAYA: A Perak Umno division deputy chief and two election agents will be charged by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) tomorrow for allegedly giving bribes during divisional elections last year.

The deputy chief will face trial for allegedly handing out a RM300 bribe during the election while one of the agents will be charged with giving a RM200 bribe to a branch delegate to support a certain candidate running for a division chief’s post in Pahang.

The other agent will be charged with offering a RM200 bribe over a division chief’s post in Malacca.

All three will be charged under Section 10 (b) of the MACC Act 2008, the commission said in a statement here yesterday.

Meanwhile, Umno vice-president Datuk Seri Mohd Ali Rustam said MACC should be left to carry out its duties without interference.

He said the commission was merely executing its duty based on evidence against the three Umno members.

“We believe that whatever action it is taking is based on clear evidence,” he told reporters after attending a briefing with Timor Leste president Dr Jose Ramos-Horta at Putra Specialists Hospital in Malacca yesterday.

In Ipoh, Perak Umno secretary Datuk Ramly Zahari said the party was fully supportive of the MACC’s action in tackling money politics.

However, he urged the commission to observe procedures when filing the charges against the accused. “We do not want the accused to be victimised.”
